People say that a picture is worth a thousand words. Well, that may be true, but it also may not be true, who knows? I have seen some pictures that are worth perhaps just a little bit less than a million words, and others that I think should pay me to  look at it.

What is for certain is that images makes things pretty, and that looking at pages of just words are not entirely exciting. We like exciting, and we also like pretty.

What we also like is a website by the name of Stock.Xchng (www.sxc.hu). We like them because they give photographers a place to strut their stuff and designers a place to get some inspiration, free stock photographs and general soothing for deadline burns. We think you will like them too. Let's be clear though, this is no affiliation, and we don't get paid to say these things.

That said, we decided to give some of the photographers some airtime and links to their profiles as our way of saying thanks for saving our deadlines so many times in the past. So, we hope you enjoy them as much as we do!
