I generally don't do politics very well, not so much because I'm generically bad at it, but rather, because I just don't have that much interest in it. That said, Zimbabwe has created a bit of a stir in all of us for a few years now, and well, climbing on this band wagon just seems like the right thing to do.
Mugabe's career as the leader of Zimbabwe could well come to a long overdue end (crossing fingers), and more important than that, Zimbabwe might see the end of an insane economy freefall.
This is all speculation. Even though everybody is saying that Mugabe has lost the elections, I firmly believe in "it ain't over until the fat lady sings". Mugabe sketches out to be the kind of guy to not lose. Ever.
But, let's daydream a bit here and imagine a Zimbabwe sans Mugabe. Will there be honey flowing through the streets and the new paradise on earth emerging from the ruins? Will we see the rise of a new power nation, wanting to end war on earth? Okay, baby steps then. How about a turnaround on the state of economy? Will the people be able to buy bread? For less than 20 million ZD?
